At Frederica, every day is like an equestrian vacation for our horse-owning residents. Horse lovers and residents of Frederica enjoy the ideal balance of quality lifestyle with access to the highest level of equestrian facilities and boarding facility care, and miles of exquisite nature trails.
Horse-owners and nature enthusiasts delight in the fresh air and natural diversity of the property where it’s not uncommon to view soaring eagles and native wood storks snacking on small fish in the lush wetlands. The rolling terrain, native plants and island wildlife of St. Simon Islands’ salt marshes and maritime forests make this a one-of-a-kind home for horse and rider. Mount up for the popular beach ride, which skirts the Atlantic Ocean. (You may even spy swimming dolphins.) Or take a trail ride to Guale Preserve, an adventure that brushes up against the island’s early history as the ride clip-clops past a historic cemetery. You’ll find that living in Frederica is truly an escape from the ordinary equestrian lifestyle.
